Conclave is the latest major expansion for Crusader Kings II. The main theme of the expansion and the accompanying patch is challenge! Through a combination of updated AI, rule changes and new features, the later stages of the game now provide a more challenging and enjoyable experience. Neighboring rulers will now seek to contain bloated empires, and though your Council is now a powerful tool to keep your vassals in line, it is a double-edged sword; overruling the council allows dangerous factions to form in your realm.
