THQ expects ”accelerated” growth in fiscal 2012, which starts April 1st next year, thanks to Space Marine, Darksiders 2 and Saints Row 3.
By the time we reach March 31st, 2011 - gamers will have two ‘core games’ from THQ in their hands. That’d be Kaos’ Homefront set in North Korean occupied United States, written by Red Dawn’s John Millius.
Second is Volition’s Red Faction making a return after the success of Guerrilla, with them promising ”robust online gameplay” with even more environment to destroy.
Fast forward to THQ fiscal 2012 and we see Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine, a sequel to Vigil’s Darksiders and the anticipated ”third generation” of Saints Row, which Volition said back in October ‘08 they had ”started work on Saints Row 3, and we have a new direction we want to go in… which we, of course, can’t talk about.”
Publisher THQ has some hot properties on the horizon, so let’s hope they all hit the mark. Which are you most looking forward to out of the bunch, videogamer?
