Modern Warfare 2's Care Package Patch is in certification for 360

Infinity Ward has told fans that the Care Package Patch has ”entered Microsoft certification” for Xbox 360’s Modern Warfare 2 - ”no ETA” yet.

One such fix that comes with the title update is the ”infinite care package” exploit, as well as ”various XP hacks.” Shouldn’t be long from Live.

”This patch has entered Microsoft certification on Friday, Feb 5th and will be released to the public upon completion. No ETA available,” read the notes, reports VideoGamer.com. The following are included in the title update:

• Care Package, Emergency Airdrop, and Sentry Gun marker grenades sprint speed normalized.

• Fix for “infinite care package” exploit.

• Sentry Guns: Improved placement detection, preventing cases of Sentry Guns inside geometry.

• Model 1887: Bling using Akimbo and FMJ combination now has same range and damage as non-Bling Model 1887s.

• Fixes to prevent various XP hacks.
