Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Confirmed

Uncharted 3 has finally been confirmed, and will be subtitled Drake’s Deception, after having been rumored to be World of Deceit. The subtitle implies that there will be trickery and deceit involved, perhaps much like the sort of double dealing that was performed in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.

According to the reveal, Drake will be in the Arabian Peninsula and the Rub’ al Khali Deseron, looking for a lost city. Naughty Dog’s creative director Ann Hennig states the game will remain an “interactive cinematic experience.”

The full trailer will be shown off during the Spike TV Videogame Awards on December 11.

There is no set release date yet, but it’s expected to be released Fall 2011 to coincide with the release of the novel Uncharted: The Fourth Laybrinth.
