Second 'Z-Day' trademark found, Gearbox Software after literature

Borderlands developer Gearbox Software has two ‘Z-Day’ trademarks which now cover videogames, books and magazines. Is it zombies? Is it?!

We don’t know for sure but it sure seems to be of an undead nature. Gearbox reportedly has 2 secret projects going alongside Aliens: Colonial Marines.

The second trademarks from Gearbox states it covers ”publications, namely, books and magazines, featuring scenes and/or characters based on video games in the fields of video games.” This was filed 2 months after their first ‘Z-Day’ trademark.

Duke Nukem Forever is currently with Gearbox as well and is due for release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC next year - it’s ”three times the size” of Modern Warfare 2 they say.
