Team17 unveil new "2D Worms" for Steam, called 'Worms Reloaded'

Martyn Brown of Team17 has revealed to Worms fans that a new 2D game of those lovable Worms of war is near release, retailing on Steam.

It’s called ‘Worms Reloaded’ and Team17 have obviously noted that ”2D Worms” kick the most rear-end for fans. It’s ”just one” title coming.

”We are pleased to announce a new edition of 2D Worms for PC! “Worms Reloaded” is coming soon via Steam. Details & features to follow…” twittered Brown.

He later added: ”To clear up a little confusion, just one PC Worms title coming to Steam, it will be called ‘Worms Reloaded’ - More information forthcoming!” Awesome news.

Team17 have made their name from the Worms franchise, and most recently self-published Alien Breed for Xbox Live Arcade, a modern HD remake of the classic gem. More 2D Worms is a good thing right, videogamer?
