Sony want EU retailers "under the right model" to sell PSN wares

US retailer GameStop sells PlayStation Network digital goods in-store but Sony wants to expand than into Europe, but they need the ”right retail partners”.

They’d like to start the ”same sort of activity” in high street stores. Microsoft already has an agreement with the UK’s GAME group with Xbox Live Marketplace.

”We actually already have the same programme in place with GameStop in the US,” SCEA president Andrew House said. ”We would like to work with the right retail partners in Europe under the right model, to undertake the same sort of activity.”
