It’s believed this Kinect spin-off is going to be called Gears of War: Exile after a trademarking was found. Gears of Wars 3 has ”no Kinect” in it.
In 2010 Epic said they have some exciting new Gears of War gameplay to be unveiled at the Spike VGAs, however it was pulled entirely before taping began. Designer Cliff Bleszinski says there is ”no Kinect in Gears of War 3.”
