Frank O’Connor has posted in NeoGAF to dispel rumors that Halo 4 will be a title for the next-generation Microsoft console.
In the forum thread, he posts, ”Halo 4 will be on Xbox 360 and use a modified core of the Halo engine(s). Not really a singular engine since it goes through fairly radical evolutions all the time.”
Analysis: Of course, that doesn’t mean that Halo 4 couldn’t be dual compatible with a theoretical Xbox 720 - and it’s doubtful Microsoft would want to split the second trilogy between two consoles like the first trilogy was. Let us know what you think.
