Tim Schaaff said it was ‘more important’ to deal with fallout and customers than keeping out hackers in the first place with a secure enough network.
”A determined hacker will get you, the question is how you build your life so you’re able to cope with those things,” said Sony network entertainment boss, Tim Schaaff. ”Great experience, really good time,” he said. “Though I wouldn’t like to do it again.”
The PlayStation Network was hit with a devastating breach to its security which left the service offline for 24 days. Sony was publically admonished by several organisations both private and at government levels for a lack of vigilance over their security.
Over 77 million accounts were left vulnerable and Sony was left reeling. High profile attacks continued but not just against Sony, as other games companies and organisations had servers probed and breached. Was the PSN hack a ‘really good time’ for you?
