Retailer GAME delists RPG Two Worlds II, UK release uncertain

Trouble brews for TopWare’s Two Worlds II in the UK as retailer GAME, the only one with a ”trading relationship” with publisher TopWare, delists the RPG.

A ”shipment issue” has plagued the game claims a source, and it’s ”uncertain if any units” will arrive. TopWare say they’re ”doing something different” in the UK.

”Subsequent reports suggest that there was a shipment issue with the Two Worlds 2 stock, and it is uncertain if any units will make it to the UK,” an industry retail source said.

Rumours of a March 18th delay for Two Worlds II in the UK are false says TopWare managing director, James Seaman. ”But we will be doing something different - stay tuned,” he added. This fuels speculation that they may forgo retail for digital-only.

Mainland Europe has enjoyed the release of Two Worlds II since autumn last year, with fully voiced English dialogue to boot. North America has been playing it since the end of last month, which has boosted sales for the RPG sequel to over 2 million.
