As Deathspank we must hunt down and destroy the evil power of the thongs, plus four new bosses, a new sidekick as well as new locations to explore and loot.
The game’s battle system has been revamped apparently with the ability to knockdown foes with a shield bash, deflect ranged weapons and even charge enemies for big damage. The AI has been tuned up as well for smarter enemies that out flank our hero.
100 new quests are promised, along with 70 new characters and 80 new weapons to accompany an ‘insane’ difficulty option. Deathspank and its sequel, Thongs of Virtue, are from the twisted and funny mind of one Ron Gilbert, creator of Monkey Island.
Deathspank: The Baconing releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC this summer.
