While no specific figures were given by the report, a graph clearly shows Xbox 360 is at least double in online capable games, and well over triple for game cards.
The data is recorded from 2006 to 2010 and the Xbox 360 has always been in the lead compared to PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii for both. An enormous amount of digital currency game cards bought from retailers goes to Xbox 360.
These don’t take into account the huge volume of digital currency bought through each platforms digital services like Xbox Live and PSN. While Xbox 360 and PS3 continue to trend upward the Nintendo Wii has since levelled off and started a decline.
November 2010 also saw 25 percent of sale unit share go to 3D enabled videogames, which then dropped the following month to around 6-7 percent before slowly increasing since then to April 2011 and reaching 11-12 percent.
Surely it’s no surprise Xbox 360 leads these graphs?
