Guild Wars 2 to host "massive one-time world event"

ArenaNet has posted a very short teaser about a ”massive one-time” event that will take place in their free-to-play MMO Guild Wars 2. Players will need to solve a mystery of ”monstrous proportions”.

It will take place in The Lost Shores as the studio tease with the opening line: ”Something stirs in the Sea of Sorrows…” An update is due for Guild Wars 2 this November 15th.

Apparently a sneak peak lurks within the most recent updated build of the MMO, posted ArenaNet’s Martin Kerstein on the official forums. Three images have been released to promote the event.
