This version of IE9 will allegedly work in the same fashion as Bing: users can speak aloud a word or phrase and the browser will automatically search for it, while hand gestures can function as a virtual mouse.
However, Xbox Live IE9 will allow users to browse without Kinect, which seems to imply that they will be able to browse via the chatpad or even the software keyboard.
The chief question is, of course, what sort of firewalls the Explorer app will have to prevent piracy or virus infection if the rumor is true.
The rumor goes on to say that Microsoft will debut the Xbox 360 Internet Explorer 9 app at E3, presumably during the Microsoft E3 Conference.
