A new game engine was said to power Syphon Filter 4 which would ‘revolutionise’ stealth gameplay, but the PlayStation.Blog post back in May last year was quickly pulled. Syphon Filter is third-person and is very reminiscent of Metal Gear Solid and Splinter Cell for stealth action.
The Play magazine also reports a God of War IV announcement for February is also likely.
