However, these codes come and go, and while the game often rewards all players with bonus goodies and cards automatically, staying on top of every Magic: The Gathering Arena code is a good way to give your collection an extra boost.
How to redeem MTG Arena codes
Redeeming Magic: The Gathering Arena codes, no matter their origin, is quite simple. You only need to create a Wizards/MTG account (needed to play the game), boot it up on PC or mobile, and select the Store tab. On the top right, there’s a “redeem code” box where you can write or paste any code you’ve found.
If the code still works, you’ll instantly get the cards and/or rewards. If it’s not working anymore, you’ll get some sort of error message that lets you know it can’t be redeemed.

Where to find more MTG Arena promo codes
You can still find MTG Arena promo codes in certain boxed products, but Wizards of the Coast has recently started to favour simply delivering extra booster packs and cosmetics to players via the in-game mailbox, so make sure to open it regularly. You’ll find attached items often.
Keeping track of all the official Magic: The Gathering Arena updates via social media is also useful. Moreover, there’s a page for promo codes that was put together by WotC itself, but it hasn’t been updated in a while.
Alternatively, you can attend in-person events such as official prereleases at local stores nearby to get extra booster packs and other digital goodies in MTG Arena if you’re using the same Wizards account. Needless to say, that method involves spending money on physical Magic: The Gathering cards.
