"Creepiest ever" The Mannequin Demo To Be Playable at EGX 2016

Those descending on EGX 2016 in Birmingham this weekend will be able to get hands-on with the "Creepiest ever" demo session of first-person horror title The Mannequin. While there's currently no trailer for the title, user reception at past events such as Insomnia seemed high. The game, penned by Alec Meer and Dan Griliopoulos, throws you between time periods in a house cursed by an unsolved murder from the 50s. The old wooden townhouse twists and turns as you're flung through past and present to uncover the secrets of a tragedy time almost forgot.

Studio Director David Mitchell said "We're now excited to show our demo to the EGX audience, as we know there is a real appetite for atmospheric horror games that deliver a great story and leave the player feeling uneasy and scared but engaged in a brilliant way." Scheduled for a 2017 PC/Mac release, The Mannequin will be available to demo throughout the long EGX weekend at 'The Tentacle' booth. Console versions will arrive later that year.
