Of course, Rocket League's 'Champions Field' update isn't just out to grab more of your cash to celebrate two years of the combat-ready flying cars. The free update will offer more of what we now expect from past updates - like the new Champions Field map. But there's a few other goodies being thrown in that aren't part of typical patch content. Once July 5 rolls around, you can expect to be able to chose from new goal animations and 18 new music tracks by Monstercat. We might not be in the golden days of Reddit and Twitter being showered by impressive plays and last night's ludicrous displays, but Rocket League is still very much alive and purring.
