If you've never had the chance to fight with the busts of your fellow man, now's your chance. Battle Brothers leaves early access March 24. After 2 years on Steam's Early Access program, Battle Brothers issued its 'Final Beta Update' on March 10 with an announcement of official release coming shortly after. Showing off banner artwork of troops rejoicing their victory, it'll be short-lived, no doubt.
Watcher Think? Battle Brothers
Of course, the live update could shatter that experience or forge one ever brighter than the last, but only time can tell. If you've been looking to slide the busts of a chain-mail army across a fantasy world and see your troops ravaged by werewolves and the deceased become shambling horrors, Battle Brothers is likely the game for you. We can bet more than a few of you will be thinking of it as a re-enactment of Game of Thrones, to an extent. There's snow, woodland, sharp steel and skeletons. It's close. Coming in two flavors, you can head on over to GreenManGaming to get a quick last-minute look at its final beta state for £11.99 or pick up a Deluxe Edition for £4 more. If you're willing to jump further, you'll earn yourself the Support Edition - but we'll leave the content surprises for you to figure out. Recruit your mercenaries, accept a contract or two, pick out the right equipment and traverse a procedurally generated open world.
