Dishonored 2 Gets Permadeath, Tweakable Difficulties And

Simply titled 'Game Update 2', Dishonored 2 will receive some new additions to its fluid difficulty in just a few days. You may remember the addition of New Game+ and a couple of new difficulty options added to the base Dishonored 2 game shortly after launch last year, but an update coming in just two days time will ease in the introduction of some fresh new ideas.

Available through a beta build to be distributed through Steam on Wednesday, January 18 with a full release on the following Monday, you'll be able to tweak each difficulty option to your liking to add a new flavor, force a new route or just increase the overall challenge of a particular mission.

Less noteworthy - but still worth pointing out - would be the much requested addition of a simple Mission Select menu. So now you can play or practice any particular portion of the main game to try out and newly devised strategies or potential suicide runs.
