Medieval RPG 'The Great Whale Road' Exits Early Access

Flapping its way on Steam Early Access in July last year, March 30 is the day Sunburned Games has set for the The Great Whale Road to enter full release. Before your gather your sea-loving friends at the thought of the giant mammal, let it be said that this new trailer contains no such beast in sight.

Being a story-driver RPG, we'd come to expect the Great Whale itself to be something of a boss battle along the high seas - but we're looking at a more realistic take on the genre set in a medieval Europe. That being said, the Whale itself could show up at any minute - but we'll all have to play it to find out whether it's a legend that birthed the name of the seas or a real monster that plagues it. The logo depicts a cute silhouette, though, so run that through your figurative probability checks first.

Not taking the role of such people, you're thrust into a vibrant, hand-drawn world where Winter is setting in and this particular group of travellers need a place to call home.
