Two Years Later 'The Exiled' Is Almost Ready For Release

After pushing through the Steam Greelight process two years ago, The Exiled is almost ready to take up Valve on their offer a space on Steam. In a rather noble decision, the developers have enabled everyone to get in on the Early Access period - for a little while, at least. Rather than expecting everyone to pay for immediate testing access, players will have 7 days to try out the game free of change before being required to buy a support pack to keep playing.

But when it is due? February 23 is the day to mark of on your paper calendar, Palm Pilot or other PalmOS device for a quick reminder. Bigging up the benefits of sitting on Steam, you'll get password-free login (assuming you're logged in one Steam already) and constant access to the game rather than praying for an alpha invite on a specific testing day.

Those already in possession of the Dev Supporter status will be granted access to the alpha client through Steam keys landing in your inbox over the next few weeks.
