Several Twitter Sources Suggest A L.A Noire Remaster Could Be Due As Early As This Summer

While a remastered edition of Rockstar's L.A. Noire have allegedly been uttered before, it's the first we're hearing of it. Rumors are sparking up suggesting the 2011 detective game could be making a come-back as early as this Summer. E3 has come and gone without such a mention, but that isn't stopping the rumor-mills from going to town on this one.

One credible Twitter source has led us believe a remastered edition of L.A Noire would be coming to the Nintendo Switch with another user then saying how they've heard talks of the title landing on the Xbox One and Playstation 4. While we can imagine Microsoft and Sony's high-end consoles getting the upgrade treatment, but the Nintendo Switch technically isn't much more powerful than the consoles L.A. Noire originally launched on.

Still, the rumors are going strong and a lot of people are latching onto the potential news - insinuating this remaster is really something people want. We don't have many more details right now, but with a Summer release reportadly on the cards, we're going to need an official announcement relatively soon - unless Rockstar are going for the element of surprise. Though a first-person camera mode is suggested to make the cut following its introduction in the PC and XBO/PS4 revisions of Grand Theft Auto 5. A VR mode is also rumoured for Sony's VR headset. It's worth mentioning that non of these tweets mention a PC-specific version, but there's every chance we'll be skipped over due to how customisable the PC version already it - likely negativing a few of the changes you'd expect of a console remaster.
