In another popular shooter update, Battlefield 1 receives its first major piece of DLC in March; and the details are already slipping out. We've already heard about how the 'They Shall Not Pass' update isn't exactly an inappropriate attempt to yell Lord of the Rings lines from the frontlines, and we know it'll cover the ongoing Verdun skirmish long after it could have been used to commemorate the famous Holiday Truce. But with the finer parts making themselves know, we're a little wiser as to where we'll be shipped off to next.
We Might Not See Another Battlefield Title For "At Least A Couple Of Years"
Frontlines becomes the game's new mode additional placing a flag between both sides for one to push ahead as if properly fighting to encroach on the enemy position. Once the full distance has been met, it breaks out into the usual fight for dominance over key positions. New vehicles are up for grabs while some may decide to switch main classes over to the club-wielding 'Trench Raider'. There's no specific date in mind when it comes to this update, but it's scheduled in for a March release. As usual, a 'premium pass' will grant early access, so expect a soft release by at least the middle of the month.
