Sleeping Dogs free for PS Plus subscribers February 6th
Sony has unveiled three new PlayStation 3 games coming to PlayStation Plus for free next month, as well as two for PlayStation Vita. Square Enix's Sleeping Dogs arrives February 6th. It'll be joined by Codemasters' F1 Race Stars and puzzler Quantum Conundrum. Meanwhile Vita will be receiving WipEout 2048 and Lumines: Electronic Symphony, February 13th and 20th.
F1 Race Stars receives four extra tracks
Codemasters has revealed four new tracks for F1 Race Stars, all of which can be downloaded today for Xbox 360 and PC.
PlayStation Network content for this week includes Doom Classic Collection
Sony has announced the releases for this week for the PlayStation 3, and one of the more intriguing entries is Doom Classic Collection, which is casually and briefly mentioned in the PlayStation Network releases. Nothing is known about it save it's Doom and apparently a collection of Doom titles, which already grace Xbox Live Arcade.
Xbox Live gains Epic Mickey 2 and F1 Race Stars demos
Now available through Xbox Live are two new demos. Disney's Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two and Codemasters' F1 Race Stars. Of course they are exclusive to Gold members only for now. You have to wait a week before they're available if you're freeloading off Microsoft's generous Xbox Live platform - for shame. Epic Mickey 2 weighs in at 1.13 GB and F1 Race Stars is just 324.64 MB.
F1 Race Stars gets first gameplay trailer from Codemasters
The audacious, cheeky and speedy F1 Race Stars from Codemasters receives its very first gameplay trailer. It's an arcade style racer with official Formula One "cars, teams and circuits" in kart racer style. F1 Race Stars features an "extensive career mode" involving a range of game modes as well as "play for a quick blast". It supports 4-player split-screen and 12-player online.
