Playdead CEO leaving studio that built Limbo and Inside
Dino Patti, CEO of Danish indie studio Playdead, announced today his intention to leave the studio. Playdead is known for their atmospheric, haunting platformer Limbo, and their follow-up, Inside, has been receiving widespread critical acclaim. Patti is, at least, leaving the studio on a very high note.

'Project 2' is "at least two years away" says Limbo's PlayDead
The creator of Limbo is hard at work on 'Project 2' but it won't be in the hands of fans for "at least two years" and may include "many ideas" that were cut from Limbo throughout its development. The team "always experiment with ideas," said game director Arnt Jensen. Limbo was "a lot of financial risk" to PlayDead as they stopped only when they "felt it was ready" to release.
Playdead's next game seems to be a spiritual successor to Limbo
Some details of Limbo developer Playdead's next game have started to trickle out, and it seems to be a spiritual successor to their dark, moody game. The game is codenamed "Project 2", and is allegedly a 2.5D platformer that "tells the story of a boy's struggle against evil forces trying to take over the world through questionable experiments on human bodies."
