Since EA basically killed Black Box, the developers that created the Skate series in 2010, you can pretty much count the number of good skateboarding games on one hand. You can use two fingers for OlliOlli 1 and 2, then you can stop because that’s all you’re getting, at least for the time being.
Addictive, side-scrolling skatefest OlliOlli 2: Welcome to Olliwood is comingnext month, developer Roll7 has confirmed, following its successful run on consoles earlier this year.
As well as enhanced controls, including all the manuals, reverts, grind-switching and revert manuals (I don't know what any of those are) you could want, the sequel brings new tricks, new levels, a split-screen 'Combo Master' mode with "four unique game modes."
The creators of skateboarding platformer OlliOlli and Not A Hero is today unveiling "something new" during their upcoming live stream stage presentation during today's EGX line-up.
Whatever this new project is we'll be told or at least teased about it at 3PM GMT+1, which is just 2PM GMT for everyone else, as right now the UK is in Daylight Savings Time.
