Dontnod's Life Is Strange releases first episode of five January 30th, 2015

The episodic story-driven adventure Life Is Strange from Dontnod Entertainment, creator of the memory-tweaking Remember Me, has just been given a release date for its first episode in the series. There will be a total of five episodes where a rewind time mechanic lets us alter our choices up to the last checkpoint, with consequences felt in short, mid and long term.

Report: Remember Me developer Dontnod files for bankruptcy [UPDATE]

According to reports, French developer Dontnod Entertainment has filed for bankruptcy. The studio created the memory manipulating Remember Me action title which received a lukewarm reception. The melee-fighting platform game set in a neo-Paris failed to spark despite a strong storyline, and an interesting what-if future. Dontnod said it struggled because of a female protagonist. UPDATE: "There is no bankruptcy, Dontnod is not in bankruptcy," Dontnod Entertainment CEO Oskar Guilbert says. Studio in "close negotiations" with big publisher on new project.

Codemasters' virtual tyre screecher GRID 2 maintains first pole position in the UK all format chart for another week, with FIFA 13 equally holding onto 2nd. Dontnod's Remember Me enters 3rd, if memory serves. Bethesda's Legendary bundle of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim came 4th, which is most impressive for a bunch of DLCs duck tapped together. Far Cry 3 was 5th, followed by Dead Island: Riptide.
