007 First Light is almost here, and ahead of its launch, we’ve been keeping tabs on everything it has to offer and trying to collect details on the selection of weapons and gadgets that James Bond will have access to. Here’s everything we’ve learned about those so far.
As an action-adventure spy thriller crafted by the developers behind the Hitman series, there are very high expectations surrounding IO Interactive’s next game and its simulations of remarkably dense and layered environments full of NPCs and gameplay opportunities. While more linear and action-heavy sections that are worthy of a 007 movie are part of First Light, the sandboxes which IO is known for will be at the centre of the experience.
So, as a well-equipped master of espionage, what can we expect to get when it comes to weapons, gadgets, and other dangerous toys? This is what we’ve found so far.
007 First Light Weapons
Based on the official footage and details shared so far, we can expect Bond to again access to the following weapons over the course of the game:
- Q Pistol (Walther PPK) - silenced variant also available
- Walther P99 pistol
- Heckler & Koch VP9 pistol
- Golden gun - Legacy Edition exclusive
- Sniper rifle
- Assault rifle
- Combat shotgun
- Brügger & Thomet APC9 submachine gun
- Heckler & Koch UMP45 submachine gun
- RPG-7 rocket launcher
- Throwing knives

007 First Light Gadgets
Of course, 007 wouldn’t be 007 without access to all sorts of surprising (and often deadly) gadgets built by Q and his team, and here you have every single one we’ve spotted so far:
- Echo trace headset/earbuds
- Lighter
- Smartphone dart gun
- Explosive pen
- Q lenses
- Q watch
- Laser device
- Explosive mine
