Dawn of Defense does not have a set release date yet, but is currently aiming for a Q4 2026 release window.

Dawn of Defense Gameplay
Dawn of Defense’s gameplay promises variety thanks to its blend of RTS, tower defense, and roguelite mechanics.
While playing the role of the defender, we’ll “build towers and rally warriors” while holding back large waves of invading enemy units.
Should our efforts prove successful, we get to strike back, harnessing the power of ancient runestones that “reshape [our] strategy with every run.”
These RTS-style sieges also see us controlling powerful heroes equipped with “unique abilities and powers” that prove instrumental in taking over islands and strongholds controlled by the enemy.
There’s also an economy layer comprised of what seem to be several resources to consider.

Dawn of Defense’s story seems rather straightforward, at least going by the information shared on its Steam page:
“The Imperium Aeternum, a massive shadow empire, sends its legions to erase the North and silence its gods,” a blurb reads.
“From the Spiridun, the divine nexus of your forefathers, command your last defense: build towers and rally warriors. Hold the line against endless waves, then strike back to reclaim your lands.”
