Everwind was released in Early Access on Steam on March 17, 2026, and while it’s early days for the sandbox RPG on PC, it’s due to get a PS5 release date in the future. When can we expect that, and why should you be excited about it coming to consoles? Read on to find out.

With Everwind at the start of its Early Access journey on PC, the Everwind console version is likely not the top priority for developer Enjoy Studio right now.
A roadmap for 2026 has been laid out, including a host of additions to the game, such as new enemies, gameplay modes, story updates, and dedicated servers. So what about the Everwind console version? Where does that fall in Enjoy Studio and Bohemia Interactive’s plans?
Everwind PS5 Release Date: When is it Coming to Consoles?
Bohemia Interactive PS5 games are something of a rarity at present, but it’s shown there’s room for full-fat sandbox games to work on the console. Military sim Arma Reforger launched on PS5 in 2023 and currently supports mods on the console. A big Bohemia Interactive PS5 game could be coming soon, with reports that the online survival game DayZ is set to get a PS5 port to coincide with its latest expansion.
There’s every chance Bohemia Interactive will do all it can to get Enjoy Studio’s sandbox RPG on consoles as soon as possible and in as good a shape as it can be.
But when can we expect an Everwind console version? Let’s look at the information we have.

The current roadmap lists 2026 as the target for all major updates, so it stands to reason that Everwind will head into its 1.0 release in 2027, assuming no major hiccups arise.
So after that, it’s a question of how far along an Everwind console version is. We estimate that players could expect an Everwind PS5 release date to emerge by Mid-to-Late 2027 at the earliest. All sorts of things can happen in development, and this isn’t a huge development team, so it could still end up creeping into 2028 to ensure console players get the best possible experience.
Why PS5 Players Should Care
The console space is a great place for a multiplayer game, as there’s a bigger potential audience all working off the same specs. By the time we get an Everwind PS5 release date, the game will be pretty much feature-complete, giving console players the ultimate sandbox RPG experience.
Minecraft fans who fancy a stronger RPG experience are in for a treat with Everwind. The game features flexible destruction, building, and crafting like Mojang’s best-selling title, but there’s a greater focus on battles and dungeoneering. You can even bring your friends along to share in the action.
The world of Everwind is procedurally-generated and full of vast floating islands to explore. You can build and destroy it as you please, making your Everwind experience a unique one.
