Hordeguard: Winds of the North is an upcoming Viking fantasy action tower defense game developed by Black Deer Games and published by Daedalic Entertainment. It is in development for Windows PC via Steam, with a release date yet to be announced.
The game blends tower defense, RTS-style resource management, RPG progression, and real-time action combat in a setting inspired by Norse mythology. Players gather resources, expand and fortify a Viking settlement, and survive escalating waves of mythical enemies, either alone or in local co-op.
