Last Harbor Release Date
The only sign of a Last Harbor release date is on the distant horizon, so all we know for now is that it will sail into view sometime in 2027.
Last Harbor Story
The story of Last Harbor is set in a post-apocalyptic Pacific Northwest where the undead have overrun the land, forcing the last remnants of humanity to take to the sea for refuge. The only time humans dare venture back onto land is when supplies are needed.
Last Harbor Gameplay
Last Harbor is a survival game at heart, where you can either venture out solo or with a group of pals onto the ocean aboard your trusty vessel.
While at sea, you must maintain and upgrade your vessel, fish for food, and generally make it as nice a place to live as possible.
But you’ll need to get back on land to acquire fuel, medicine, weapons, and the like, so part of your time will be spent preparing for those expeditions.
Combat will have a tactical edge, as you don’t really want to alert a horde of undead to your location, so coordination between players can ensure relatively safe passage instead of a mad scramble to get back on the boat. Let’s be honest, though, it’s going to be utter bloody chaos 9 times out of 10.
The game exists as a persistent open world with dynamic weather. So when a storm hits, you’ll have to seek safe harbors where guards keep the peace against the undead.
While cooperative play is encouraged, there’s nothing to stop other players from ambushing you and stealing your goodies, so you’ll have to keep an eye out for more than just the undead.
