Developer The Behemoth has revealed that the multiplayer patch for Castle Crashers is nearly ready to poke out its lair, they’re just waiting on Microsoft.
They ”can’t get into details” about the whole process involved with getting the patch out but it’s ”definitely” nearing the end of its journey. It tackles data loss and connection issues.
”We’re working with Microsoft to get the title update out as quickly as we can,” the dev told Xbox 360 Fanboy.
”Sadly, we can’t get into details about the certification process, but we’ve resolved the game’s issues with data loss and networking in addition to other bugs.”
”We can’t really comment on the release yet as we’re not allowed to talk about it because of Microsoft, but the update’s release is definitely reaching the end of the process,” they explained.
They also thank their ”awesome” group of fans for ”identifying issues”. Of course some have likely moved on already to new XBLA offerings, especially with N64’s Banjo-Kazooie coming this week.
