Asian publisher T3 Entertainment is setting up a new development studio in San Francisco to keep both Hellgate and Mythos alive.
They've posted job listings that say they're looking for "creative minds to passionately continue development" on the RPGs. Are they to be finally saved from the clutches of limbo?
"T3 Entertainment is searching for creative minds to passionately continue development of Hellgate: London and Mythos, along with other new games, which are being published by HanbitSoft Inc," read the posting.
"A development studio has been established in San Francisco, CA, with hopes of gathering those who wish to join us in starting a new chapter of history in the game industry."
Flagship Studios cancelled the beta for onliner Mythos and stopped billing gamers for subscriptions to Hellgate: London - announcing the death knell for the properties. T3 looks determined to keep them alive so lets hope they can do a great job of it.
