Trying to solve the Roulette Table puzzle in Resident Evil Requiem? Here’s the exact solution, where to find it, and how to win without wasting ammo.
- Step 1: Enter the Parlor in the West Wing after unlocking it with the red jewel.
- Step 2: Shoot one of the numbers 7, 15, or 29 on the roulette table.
- Step 3: Spin the wheel — if it lands on the number you shot, you’ll get an Antique Coin. If it doesn’t, reload and try again.
That’s all there is to it - but there are a few smart tricks to avoid wasting resources.
Much like the previous entries in the franchise, Resident Evil Requiem includes plenty of easter eggs and hidden rewards for completing what appear to be simple puzzles. One of the earliest puzzles, which doesn’t even appear to look like one, is at the roulette table in Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center.
When playing as Grace after her first meeting with Leon, Requiem tasks you with traversing through the east and west wings of the center. The latter section is where you can find a fancy roulette table waiting for you to make a bet.
Resident Evil Requiem Roulette Table Location
The roulette table is in the parlor after entering the west wing of the care center. Take a left after entering the west wing, and the parlor will be the first door on the right, just before you make your way down to the kitchen. However, you’ll first need to find a red jewel to unlock the door to the parlor room. After finding the red jewel, use it to unlock the door, and you’ll find the Roulette Table waiting for you.
Resident Evil Requiem Roulette Table Puzzle Solution
Your first instinct might be to just spin the roulette wheel, but it won’t reward you with anything. To get your special reward in this section, you need to focus on three numbers: 7,15 and 29. Why these numbers? That’s because the ball on the roulette wheel only ever lands on these numbers, seemingly at random. Switching to first-person view can make it easier to spot the rigged spinning wheel.
To place your bet, aim and shoot at any one of the numbers first, and then spin the roulette wheel. If you’re lucky, the ball will land on the number you chose, and you’ll be handsomely rewarded with an antique coin. If not, just shoot any of the other numbers and spin again until the win condition is met.
If you’re low on bullets, there is a breakable vase in the parlor room with handgun ammo. You can also use an exploit by saving in the guard’s office before entering the parlor. Once you’ve won the coin, you can’t win a second time. The antique coins can be used to buy items in the parlor room.
Tips to Avoid Wasting Ammo
- Always save before trying
- Use a precise weapon for accuracy
- Don’t repeatedly attempt without reloading
- First-person aiming can help with precision
This puzzle is luck-based after you shoot the number, so save-scumming is the smartest way to save ammo here.
Can You Do the Roulette Puzzle More Than Once?
No. Once you successfully win the Antique Coin, the puzzle cannot be repeated for additional rewards.
Where Is the Roulette Table Located?
The roulette table is found in the Parlor area of the West Wing.
You’ll gain access after progressing through the main story and unlocking the appropriate door using the Red Jewel. It’s optional and easy to miss if you don’t fully explore the room.
If you’re collecting all Antique Coins, make sure to complete this before moving too far forward in the story.
Why 7, 15, and 29?
These three numbers are the only ones coded to trigger the reward.
Shooting any other number will result in a normal roulette spin with no special outcome.
This isn’t random trial-and-error - it’s a hidden Easter egg puzzle designed to reward observant players.
Is the Roulette Puzzle Required?
No - this is an optional Easter egg-style puzzle. However, the reward is useful, especially on higher difficulties where every resource matters.
Should You Do This Puzzle?
If you’re trying to collect every Antique Coin in Resident Evil Requiem or strengthen your character for later sections, this is absolutely worth the short detour. It’s quick, simple, and only costs a little patience.
What Do You Get for Winning?
You receive 1 Antique Coin. Antique Coins can be used to:
- Purchase upgrades
- Unlock useful bonuses
- Strengthen your character for tougher sections
If you’re playing on greater difficulties, this extra resource is absolutely worth the effort.
