Star Wars Zero Company Update 1.1 is now live, giving Bit Reactor’s turn-based tactics game its first major post-launch patch. The update focuses primarily on crashes, stability, combat issues, camera behavior and several mission bugs, while also making smaller changes to the tutorial and upgrade systems.
Players hoping Bit Reactor would also use this patch to announce mod support should know that the studio still hasn’t made modding official, but more news on this below.
What Does Star Wars Zero Company Update 1.1 Add?
Star Wars Zero Company Update 1.1 is primarily a bug-fixing patch rather than a content update. We’ve got a rundown of the main game areas that have been fixed and changed; full patch notes are on EA’s Star Wars: Zero Company site.
Firstly, Bit Reactor has addressed several performance and stability problems, including crashes, visual stutters and an issue that could temporarily delete Beskar saves. The patch also fixes save corruption following sudden or forced game shutdowns and updates the recommended Nvidia and AMD drivers.
A number of combat problems have also been addressed. The update fixes situations where attacks could miss despite having a 100% chance to hit, while several Overwatch issues have been corrected. These include enemies firing through solid objects and attacks triggering against units outside the intended targeting cone. The DC-17m Anti-Armor shot, Ion Blasters and Tel-Rea’s Force attacks have also received fixes to their damage and critical-hit behavior.
Update 1.1 also makes several smaller changes to the campaign. The Weapon Mods tutorial can now be closed using the back option, while canceling a multi-cycle upgrade correctly shows that its progress has been reset. Tel-Rea Vokoss’ hero mission has also been fixed so its final battle doesn’t end prematurely when only one survival turn remains.
Last but not least, PC players using Nvidia GTX 10-series or RTX 20-series graphics cards that meet the minimum requirements have an additional performance option. EA recommends turning off Environment Geometry Detail, which can reduce rendering overhead and potentially improve frame rates on those GPUs.
Are There Star Wars Zero Company Mods?
Star Wars Zero Company doesn’t have official mod support; Bit Reactor’s Lead Producer, Caydence Funk, said in a Zero Company Q&A that while the studio has “a lot of respect for the modding community” there are no plans to add proper mod support. Players hoping for the 1.1 update to show the studio changed its mind will be disappointed.
However, this hasn’t stopped ambitious PC players from establishing an already active modding community, which we’ve highlighted through our dedicated Star Wars: Zero Company mods database, alongside guides to Star Wars Zero Company best specialization options. Keep in mind that official game updates may cause issues with unofficial mods.
Star Wars Zero Company was released Aug. 27, 2026, on PC through the EA app, Steam and Epic Games Store, as well as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
