What are the best Resident Evil Requiem mods available to download right now? The new survival horror game from the masters at Capcom is still in its infant days, but players already are hard at work, and here we’ll be collecting our favourite mods for it.
On top of game-changing modifications and graphical upgrades, we’re also keeping tabs on Resident Evil Requiem cheats and console commands, and if you simply need a bit of help with its safe codes, we’ve got you covered too. In any case, we plan to keep adding to our coverage of the ninth mainline RE game as the community bites into it.
Best Resident Evil Requiem Mods
Much like Grace Ashcroft and Leon S. Kennedy, we’re now searching all over Raccoon City for answers and the best RE Requiem mods around. At the time of writing, modders and casual players are starting to come up with helpful user-made addons, but don’t expect anything too complex yet.
Most of these mods wouldn’t happen without the help of REFramework, a platform that’s been crucial to modding recent Capcom games built with the famous RE Engine. Its existence also guarantees that those looking to tinker with and add to RE Requiem won’t need to rebuild tools from scratch.
Here are the best mods we’ve found for the game so far.
FOV Fix by BlueCookieWookie
The default field of view in RE Requiem is quite narrow, which may induce nausea in certain players. Fortunately, the FOV fix by BlueCookieWookie mod is here to help by letting players adjust the FOV slider. Simply download the DLL file from the mod page and copy it over to your game’s install directory inside Steam. Press the “Insert” button after starting the game, and you’ll be met with the menu to enable and adjust the custom global FOV.
No Film Grain
While Resident Evil Requiem is a gorgeous, cinematic game, some filmmaking tools should stay in their lane. One of these options, which is quite controversial depending on which PC gamer you ask, is film grain. By default, Requiem uses film grain to emulate cinematic imagery, and you can’t get rid of it in the game’s settings. That’s where the No Film Grain mod comes into play. It does exactly what it says.
Max Stack Sizes
If you like to hoard resources and are annoyed by the arbitrary restrictions on your inventory space, you’re going to love this one. The Max Stack Sizes mod lets you customize how many stacks of resources, like herbs, grenades, etc, can be stored by Grace or Leon. You can either set the maximum stack size to 9999 or multiply the base stack by 2x, 4x… and up to 10x.
There are some caveats, though, as certain items like the amount of blood in the Blood Collector can’t be stacked. To install the mod, ensure you have REFramework (as shared above) installed, then use the Flully Mod Manager to install it.
Collect More Blood- 999-99999 or Multipliers- x2-10
In the Max Stack Sizes mod, one of the caveats is that you aren’t able to stack blood for the Blood Collector. Thankfully, there’s a mod just for that, should you want it.
With this mod, you can store up to 99999 units of blood. You won’t get more blood in the game, but you won’t have any limitations on how much you can store at once. However, be warned, as it comes with some caveats which you can find on the mod’s page.
Easy Parry
Leon’s parry move is back from Resident Evil 4 Remake, but with the action being a tad sporadic due to Leon sharing story duties with Grace, it can be difficult to get into the groove of it.
The Easy Parry mod does exactly what it says. You can adjust the parry timings to suit you better, making those intense 1v1 moments a little easier. Alternatively, it can be tweaked for a greater challenge when you’ve blown through the game a few times. There’s also an Auto Parry mod if you want to let the parrying play out on its own.
Infinite Items
Want to feel a bit safer creeping around corridors as Grace or battling legions of undead as Leon? Well, you can’t get much safer than with an Infinite Items mod. This mod provides an infinite amount of the following items:
Healing
- Green Herb
- Mixed Herb (G+G)
- Mixed Herb (G+G+G)
- Med Injector
Grace’s Items
- Hemolytic Injector
- Molotov
- Acid Bottles
- Steroids
- Stabilizer
- Antique Coins
- Lockpicks
- Ink Ribbons
Leon’s Items
- Hand Grenade
- Stacked Hand Grenade
This requires installing REFramework beforehand, and this mod’s installation can be done through Fluffy Mod Manager. As you can see, those two are go-to tools to get proper mods going for these games.
Infinite Ammo and HP
There can be many reasons players would want to use an infinite ammo and HP mod for Resident Evil: Requiem. The intensity of the horror is too much; the difficulty overrules the curiosity to explore; or the freedom to muck about in a second playthrough is incredibly tempting.
Whatever your reason, this mod will help you out… as long as you have REFramework installed, of course.
Bonus Content Unlocker
Feeling impatient? Want all those lovely unlocks early? This tempting mod unlocks every weapon, costume, item, model, and piece of concept art in the bonus content menu.
Unsurprisingly, you’ll need REFramework installed for this, which is a pretty useful tool for RE mods anyway. Also, be wary this script makes permanent changes to your system save file, even if the mod is physically uninstalled.
