When will Resident Evil Requiem Photo Mode arrive? GameWatcher looks at when players will be able to capture Capcom’s latest survival horror entry in all its gory glory.
Resident Evil Requiem has impressed players with its cinematic visuals and atmospheric horror. The game alternates between the terrifying investigative sections featuring Grace Ashcroft and the gun-fu absurdity action sequences starring Leon S. Kennedy, all set against the nostalgia-inducing backdrop of Raccoon City.
Requiem is gorgeous, and sometimes it’s nice to just ogle the grisly goodness Capcom has served up with this latest entry in the long-running survival horror series, making it a perfect candidate for a dedicated Photo Mode.
However, the game launched without one, meaning players currently need to rely on standard screenshot tools instead of a full in-game photography feature.
So, is Resident Evil Requiem getting a Photo Mode update?
Resident Evil Requiem Photo Mode Details
Yes — Capcom has confirmed that Photo Mode is coming to Resident Evil: Requiem.
In a video shared on the official Resident Evil social channels, game director Koshi Nakanishi discussed upcoming post-launch content for the survival horror sequel. During the update, he confirmed that Photo Mode will be one of the next major additions to the game.
While Capcom has not revealed a precise release date yet, Photo Mode is expected to arrive before a mini-game update scheduled for May 2026.
That means players will likely be able to start capturing dramatic shots of Leon, Grace, and the terrifying creatures of Requiem sometime in the coming weeks.
Until then, fans will have to rely on traditional screenshots to document their encounters with the horrors of Raccoon City.
