Cozy farming life sim Starsand Island is now in early Access on PC and Xbox Series X/S, and it’s been pretty popular since its February 11, 2026, release.
The sim sees players head to the countryside of a serene island, where they can befriend the wildlife, create their own farm, and chat with the locals.
In Early Access, the game regularly receives patches, big and small, to address the myriad issues that crop up and to generally tweak the game for a more pleasurable experience.

Starsand Island Early Access Update Version 0.3.3595 Latest Patch Notes
Starsand Island Early Access Update 0.3.3595 focuses on performance improvements, UI optimizations, and numerous bug fixes. The patch improves quest tracking, controller behavior in Build Mode, and vegetation rendering while resolving numerous issues affecting NPC schedules, quest progression, items, and audio. Several crashes, save issues, and interface bugs have also been fixed to provide a smoother experience for players. This is one of the bigger patches that we’ve seen since release.

- Fixed a model issue where the DLC “Freeflow Attire” skirt appeared inflated.
- Fixed an issue where corresponding seeds were not unlocked after accepting Junior/Intermediate Farmer quests.
- Fixed an issue in Build Mode where blueprint components could still be placed without materials; placement is now disabled without required materials.
- Fixed incorrect images in the livestock breeding species encyclopedia.
- Fixed an issue where gifts given by NPC Graminova did not match the displayed items.
- Fixed an issue where the Chicken Coop model position became incorrect and clipped after loading a save.
- Fixed a model issue where the character’s feet would clip through the skateboard while using it.
- Fixed an issue where pressing ESC could not close the TAB menu after exiting the Makeup interface.

- Fixed an issue in the English and Japanese versions where the Beehive tips gene tag and the teleport device address hint text would overflow the text box.
- Fixed a text overlap issue in the Traditional Chinese, Japanese, and English versions where the DLC outfit source description and New Year commission title and tag overlapped.
- Fixed UI issues in the Traditional Chinese, English, and Japanese versions where the animal affection avatar appeared blurry and backpack buffs were missing spaces.
- Fixed issues in the English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese versions where the ash kiln progress bar overlapped button prompts, and the Advanced Rabbit Hutch text overlapped with the icon.
- Fixed issues in the English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese versions where the Firework Launcher prompt text was missing a key and shop item prices were missing thousand separators.
- Fixed an issue in the Traditional Chinese, English, and Japanese versions where the yacht rental interface hint text appeared grey with low readability.
- Fixed an issue in the Traditional Chinese, English, and Japanese versions where the Ribbit Holiday DLC reward purchase acknowledgment text displayed incorrectly.
- Fixed issues in the English version where the vehicle modification shop title line spacing was too large and the text was too close to the edge.
- Fixed an issue in the English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese versions where the road sign near the house and the dock harbor signboard only displayed Chinese; localized images/materials have been added.

- Zerine’s General Store: Add Firework-themed items.
- Lex Woodworks: Add Rednote collaboration items.
April 2026
- Expand NPC voice content and improve existing voice performances.
- Add and further develop the NPC Dating System.
May 2026
- Initially introduce MOD support and provide basic creator tools.
- Enable sharing through the Workshop, allowing players to enrich the warm and creative content ecosystem of Starsand Island together.
June 2026
- Introduce multiplayer gameplay, supporting cooperative play with friends and island visits.
