Cozy farming life sim Starsand Island is now in early Access on PC and Xbox Series X/S, but when will it be available on other consoles?
From the moment Seed Sparkle Lab’s anime-inspired farming life sim, Starsand Island, was revealed, fans of Harvest Moon and Stardew Valley have been enchanted by its tranquil beauty.
PC and Xbox Series X/S players can now visit Starsand Island in early Access ahead of a full release, but the game is set for other consoles as well. When you ask? Well, that’s what we’re here to tell you!
Starsand Island PS5 and Switch 2 Release Date
Starsand Island will likely set sail for PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2 in the summer of 2026, when the game is due to come out of Early Access. There’s no concrete release date at this time.
A magical escape from the grind of city life, Starsand Island takes you to the (fairly) tranquil countryside, forests, and beaches of the titular island, where you can spend your days farming, hanging out with the local wildlife, and explore the wonders of the woods.
You’ll be able to traverse the island on a variety of transportation, from longboards to sailboats, meeting your fellow islanders along the way. Everything you could hope for in a peaceful island life.
But if you have a taste for action, you’ll be able to delve into the mysterious ruins in the depths of the island, where you can battle strange creatures for rare treasures and find precious materials.
