Gamers are reporting that since the launch of NXE for the Xbox 360, the MMORPG Final Fantasy XI has been having a tough time of it.
The problem seems to surround the PlayOnline Viewer that already required an installation to the HDD. Microsoft and Square Enix haven’t come up with a solid fix just yet.
One train of thought was to try and reinstall the game but it doesn’t seem to be working for users. Right now the only course of action seems to be waiting for Microsoft and the dev team to find a solution.
”When encountering this issue, please refer to the below steps as one of the possible measures to resolve it,” reads Microsoft’s support article.
-
From the PlayOnline Viewer, please select and execute Uninstall the software.
-
When uninstallation is complete, please restart Final Fantasy XI.
-
This should begin reinstalling the PlayOnline Viewer. Please follow the instructions on the screen and complete installation.
