Fans have been clamouring to get a hold of the beta for MGO, now once the new redesigned PS Store launches on April 15th that dream will almost become reality.
It’s a great time too what with Metal Gear Solid 4 launching June 12th. The new improved Store will also include other goodies like Warhawk: Operation Broken Mirror.
So there we have it, the Metal Gear Online beta program will be coming to Europe. It’ll launch April 17th; the actual online testing will run from April 21st through to May 6th. Up to 16 players can battle in out through game worlds generated from the Guns of the Patriots game engine.
”The beta program will offer players a unique chance to sample the innovative multi-player experience of Metal Gear Online, which emphasizes cooperative team-based play. Those downloading the beta will be invited to explore two maps–“Blood Bath” and“Groznyi Grad”– each of which requires unique strategies in order to achieve victory.”
