The team behind Lord of the Rings Online have announced they are pursuing a console project in an interview with Kotaku.
Time Warner has pumped $40 million into the studio which leaves Turbine "well funded for a good time into the future," said communications director Adam Mersky.
There's no specifics about their title for console but it's highly suspected that it will be an MMO project at least, possibly even a console version of Lord of the Rings Online or Dungeons & Dragons.
"DDO is doing well too," Mersky said, "It's over two years old which is something to be said for a lot of MMOs."
"Atari has turned itself around, brought in a lot of talented people recently, and we're in active dialog with them to do good things for DDO."
