Yeah that’s right, Konami are practising their room trashing skills to produce the ‘ultimate’ rock game supporting the most realistic drum peripheral.
Bass and lead guitar are in the mix as well as DLC for Xbox360 and PS3 versions, there’ll be Wii and DS versions also expected this autumn in North America.
”Rock Revolution will be the most innovative and realistic rock game to hit the market, that will provide a quality drum peripheral and music that players will appreciate,” said Anthony Crouts, Vice President of Marketing for Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc.
”As the originator of music-based games, we are dedicated to bringing fans a truly preeminent music experience. With Rock Revolution, we put the emphasis on the drum kit, delivering an experience unlike any other.”
The Wii version won’t have a drum controller but will support both an air-drum and air-guitar thanks to the Wii Remote and Nunchuk; the DS has the least glamorous time with just the Stylus.
No European release date has been hinted at yet but Rock Revolution will launch sometime this autumn for Xbox360, PS3, Wii and DS.
