A tidal wave of data has surged from the recently leaked documents from market research firm Intellisponse, whose big clients include Microsoft and Activision.
One such item is Trioxide which apparently would let gamers play next-gen console games on their PC. Chances are this is just a product concept, not actually real.
For one thing it would certainly cause a ruckus between the major houses, Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo. $49 and $299 were listed as two possible price points for Trioxide, this would suggest maybe some peripheral would be involved somewhere.
Here’s the product description for the mythical beast Trioxide:
”Introducing the ability to play the latest console games (i.e. Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, etc.) on your PC. Many of these games are only available on consoles today and with this new feature would now be available on the PC as well. With this new feature those console games are now playable on your PC!
Uses the same game controllers as the original console system (all games use regular console controllers, not your computer keyboard or mouse.)”
Its likely Trioxide, a least for a few more years anyway, will be sharing a dorm room with the unicorn and sasquatch.
