Remedy's CFO Mika Reini has posted a small apology and quick affirmation that Alan Wake, their psychological thriller, is still alive and chugging along.
He said he felt they owed us "all a small heads up," and says if everything had of gone "perfectly smoothly" we'd have it right now. Is this "all real or imagined..."?
"Dear people," okay so Reini's off to a good start here.
"We feel we owe you all a small heads up, and our apologies for lack of updates. This is just part of our psychological thriller," adds the CFO fiend, "is it all real or imagined..."
"Seriously, yes, we're still here and working hard on getting Alan Wake for you to enjoy. Sure, we've been in development for a long time and if everything had gone perfectly smoothly there probably would be a game out for you guys to play already."
Alan Wake, the name of the videogame in case you'd already forgotten, is in development (if you believe the myth) for Xbox 360 and PC with Microsoft publishing.
