From the latest test server patch notes the first mounts will now be available from level 30 instead of 40. Training in Apprentice Riding will cost 35 gold.
This seems to have been met with mixed reactions from the WoW community with many 'traditionalists' angry at the change.
Obviously some of those a little miffed at the news probably just forked out the 90-ish gold it costs to train at level 40. Not me though, I'm a warlock... that's right I said I'm a warlock.
Mounts at 30?! Yes, it's true: Apprentice Riding and mounts are now available at level 30. Training costs 35 gold.
This is both great and sad news. Great because all that damn running in Stranglethorn will be a thing of the past but also a little sad as reaching level 40 for your mount was like a baptism of fire (no that's not a Felsteed joke).
