Aaron Greenberg, Microsofts Group Product Manager for the Xbox 360, is confident that the 360 will outsell the PlayStation 3 this holiday season. September sales numbers show that Microsoft is firmly in control of second place by number of units sold in the US, right behind the Nintendo Wii. Greenberg told Kotaku that
”we feel confident that we’ll outsell the PS3 this holiday season in North America and in Europe. We’ll do it on a global scale.”
Microsoft recently cut prices on all Xbox 360 models including its entry point model, the Xbox 360 Arcade. Greenberg cited that he expects ”to continue our price advantage over the PlayStation 3 for a long time.”
